Carter Hart est échangé – Serait-ce aux Sabres ? Peut être? Peut-être?

A Levi/Hart tandem would be very fun. Sign me up

Only if it’s 1 for 1 with UPL absolute max

I think it’s crazy to completely dismiss this as a realistic possibility. Have the people who are immediately saying no actually watched Hart play?

He has proven that he can play at a very high end level for extended stretches. He fits the core perfectly at only 24 years old with plenty of team control left as an RFA at the end of this season. It is extremely rare that a goalie of his caliber and age is traded at all, but it seems like Briere is really dead set on tearing it down, and the Flyers have been a mess in front of him the past few seasons.

If this costs something like UPL + Philly’s 2nd + a prospect not named Kulich or Savoie, Adams should heavily consider it. A Levi/Hart tandem going forward would be a near perfect scenario.

Could be an interesting idea, Hart is old enough to run the show until Levi is fully ready. I still would rather see Hellybuck or Saros though.

Young bona-fide #1 goalie. Sounds too rich for my blood

Wouldn’t mind this depending on what we give up. Park upl in Rochester and do a 60/40 or 70/30 hart/levi split with hart taking the majority of the workload. Just my thoughts.

For the record, Shawn Simpson is a fucking moron with no sources.

A Hart/Levi tandem would be great. If it turns out Levi isn’t ready to handle 50 NHL games this coming season Hart would be a great insurance policy and bridge to Levi. All depends on the cost of course.

Levi + UPL is my preferred option. You, cheap, and the opportunity to push each other.

It’s gonna have to be a pretty large offer to pry him away from Philly, plus they added Cal from the kings and probably want to see how erson does so it’s doubtful Buffalo could send one of comrie or UPL the other way which complicates things.

Since we’ll assume this is the replacement happening…

    |UPL||Hart|
    |:-|:-|:-|
    |24|Age|24|
    |6’4″|Height|6’2″|
    |46|Career Games|201|
    |1 year >RFA, $.925M|Contract|1 year> RFA ~$4M|
    |.897|Career Sv%|.906|
    |-5|Goals saved above expected|15|
    |-.003|Sv% above expected|.003|
    |-.84|WAR|1.71|

I’d make the deal, but I wouldn’t pay an outrageous price. Hart could be a « peaking early » candidate like Gibson/Murray. He’s been a little up and down over the start of his career. He’s owed a big QO next summer of about $4.4M. Those are three knocks against that would have me value him around a package like: UPL, Philly’s 2nd, a conditional pick in ’24 or ’25.

Wasn’t there something a few seasons ago about carter hart only being good at home? That would honestly solve all of our problems

Hockey buzz says it’s Philly / CBJ / Kings, fairly fleshed out but haven’t seen confirmation yet. Allegedly Cal Peterson goes to the Flyers

    ugh please not Carter Hart.

So reading the room I gather this guy is a cunt looking to make a hot take but with exactly nothing substantiating this take. Sound about right? Personally I know nothing about this reporter.
