    Hey Canucks Fans,

Before I get crucified here for self-promotion, I received the green light from the mods to post this. I made this video covering the root cause of the teams issues the past decade, and that is meddling ownership. Any feedback or criticism is welcome and appreciated.

The video starts of uncovering the shady business dealings that led up to the Aquilini’s ownership of the team. It also covers the golden era of the Gillis days, the downfall, the Lindenning era, and the current management group. All of these regimes have been hamstrung by ownership, and in this video I discuss how.

Special thanks to fellow r/Canucks meme contributor Harmanized for the Thumbnail!

An actual deep dive into discussing problems? You are a bold one

Should post it on Twitter and tag Blueberry Man

Oh man. Thanks, I’ve been waiting for someone to do a video essay on the Aqualini ownership for 3 years.

Has Aqua blocked you on twitter yet?

What was the rumoured return from Pittsburgh for Kesler?

I feel like the deal would’ve included Derrick Pouliot who was considered a blue chip prospect during that time.

    EDIT:

*Trib reported that Ray Shero made an offer which included Brandon Sutter and Derrick Pouliot last season prior to the actual deadline, but the deal went nowhere.* *My feelings on that offer haven’t wavered, as I feel that giving upPouliot in any deal was and still is a bad idea, but the Pensundoubtedly had multiple options to explore in order to seal this deal.*

Its kind of funny that Aquilini pulled the plug on the deal and then went out ans acquired Sutter and Pouliot anyway.

Maybe Aquilni got one right for once, this would’ve been a terrible return for Kesler

Bang on. I understand Aqua, and how his passion for the Canucks made him meddle. However, this is not good business; you hire the right people and let them do their thing. I hope he has learned this, Alvin seems to be a quality hire and smarter than the average bear. Hopefully Rutherford sticks around long enough to be a voice of wisdom and a buffer from the meddling Aqua.
