    He killed us this year, 67 shots on him in 3 periods and the canes lost. Healthy respect for that guy

    I’d go for Saros if the opportunity exists. He’s 28 and a star. Hellebuyck is likely to be on the market too. Goaltending didn’t lose us the Florida series, but Freddie and Raanta both are getting older with injury histories.

    I would prefer going after a veteran we can get for way less than prospects and picks (Flower, c’mon) who can help us develop our prospects.

    If we’re trading away picks and prospects it needs to be for someone who can find the back of the net with a solid contract.

    The asking price is quite high according to the reports. 2 firsts, 2 blue chip prospects.

    He’s worth a haul but, he also creates quite a problem for us if Kochetkov continues to develop.

    If we are in the market I think Hart is the better option. He will be much cheaper to obtain and he would benefit from having a solid tandem 1A 1B style
