With Dahlin pretty much wrapped up the focus shifts to Power on getting an extension done this summer. Sounds like there is still a bit of work to be done on that front.
Also, fwiw don’t rule out a shorter term extension of Mittelstadt either.

AFPAnalytics [projects](https://twitter.com/J_Finchy1/status/1659342745838690305) a Power extension will come in at $6.563Mx7 or $4.423Mx3 where as Mittelstadt would be $3.684Mx2.
If we could get Mittelstadt locked up for like 3-4 years to take him to Quinn / Peterka / kulich/ Savoie etc needing new contracts that would be pretty nice
Shorter as in? Because outside of one-yr deals, Adams has been giving out 7yr contracts like its the norm. Watch him give Mitts a 5yr contract and go « yeah? It *is* shorter than usual, right? »
Wouldn’t be opposed to a sensible deal for Mitts in any case, he’s a great player to have in the lineup
