    Lie down

    Try not to cry

    Cry a lot

  2. adirtyhole

    No, YOU’RE crying…
    Will miss you, Darren.

God bless you Panger. One of the best and you make hockey a joy to watch much like Doc Emerick did.

I’ve made the joke “holy jumpin’ ship” but there’s no blame at your feet Pang – you’ve been a class act for the city and I know you would have taken a reasonable contract from Bally if they had offered one.

    Today sad.

Tomorrow mad. Tomorrow he’s a Blackhawk.

  5. chiddie

very grateful for the work and enthusiasm Pang brings to the job. It won’t be the same watching Blues games next year.

He’s the enemy now, thanks for the good times but so long!

I’m saving this to read later tonight after glass or two of bourbon. I’m not ready for this.

This hurts a lot. My pain is immeasurable and I want to die.

Sadness covers me like a blanket. Tuck me in. Let me die.

I literally just had a dream where we all got together to sign a shirt for Panger as a goodbye gift…

Gonna miss him a ton. Good luck Panger, thx for the memories ❤

Nothing is ever as bad as it seems or as good as it seems at the time, but I can’t help but feel like this franchise is in shambles at the moment (or maybe it’s just me that’s in shambles). First my boy Perron doesn’t get offered a contract, then my boy Barbie gets dealt, and now this….gonna be a tough season next year without Panger

What a class act! We will definitely miss him! Good
    Luck Panger!

So much class, he makes everyone around him better.

Best of luck, and thanks for all the fish.

God damn, he is a class act! Love Panger!

For the rest of my life, when I witness a player beating a goalie 1 v 1, in my head I will hear Panger saying “thanks for coming”

  17. wherethestreet

I’m definitely crying, and you’re also definitely crying.

A few years ago, my cousin wanted to get me a great birthday gift. He reached out to a few players and Panger on Twitter and asked if they could say “happy birthday” into a camera for me- this was before the days where some of them were on cameo. Panger replied, asked about my journey as a fan, and my favorite moments from the broadcast and made a minute long personalized birthday message for surprise me- all without asking for a dime. That, and a thousand moments on the broadcast are really special to me. Thanks, Panger.

Gonna miss him too much tbh for a commentator lol… who knew the last « holy jumpin » or « gave em the ol’ nine of hearts » or « X like you read about » would be the last ones we’d hear from him in St. Louis….

I’m depressed. I wish him nothing but the best. Fuck this year of sports in St. Louis. Except STL City I guess.. not much of a soccer fan though lol

When he comes back to town to broadcast a game, I hope the org has a tribute video for him just like they would any player.

  22. lateral_jambi

Undertone of this: Panger never would have left if given a reasonable offer. Forced out by Bally.

    Fuck Bally Sports.
