Bruce didn't have enough time to coach a whole new system. But he DID have enough time to say, "wtf? Why is every player constantly looking to move the puck backwards? Was that your old coach? Screw that! Just go play some hockey. Forwards: move forward and shoot. Defense: look for open attackers and check them."

I thought that was Myers best game as a nuck and that PK was the best I've seen in years here, they are going to get a lot of shorties this season if they play like that.

They needed to fire both the coach and GM. It was like Green's message was getting old and players had tuned him out.
Benning got a lot of flack but he did do some really good things
Drafting (Boeser, Petterson, Hughes, Hoglander, Podoklsvin and Dipetro) 2016 he totally messed up that draft Tkakuck was sitting there and we drafted a total bust
He resigned Petterson, Hughes and Demko and got Garlund and OEL who looks much better getting out of that wasteland of a team in Arizona
Traded for JT Miller
So he did some really good things but his time was up
Demko is turning into an Elite goalie
And if Boeser, Petterson, Miller find their scoring Vancouver will be in good shape
This year will be interesting

Is it just my perception or did the Canucks' blue-line to center transition game suddenly get kicked into high gear. I haven't seen the Canucks move the puck that well all season and they were keeping the puck in LA's end…they were shooting more and getting more chances at the net. Maybe there is a light at the end of the tunnel…and it ain't an oncoming train. But then again, I've seen too many high-expectation seasons with this team to get my hopes up this early in the new coach's tenure.
