As a Montreal fan, it make me so happy to see them win. They remind me of our 2021 run and they truly deserve to win it all. I personally also love Vegas but I have to go with the underdog on this one.

The problem with this awful officiating is that, right or wrong, the officials had set a precedent on what was and was not a penalty in the previous three rounds. Then we get to the SCF, and the referees decide to start calling the games by the book, which isn't fair (to either team, but especially Florida). There is absolutely NO consistency, and that is the problem.
God I hope the Panthers gain some confidence out of this and roll them up. I hate this VGK team.

There will no brooms in S FL this year at least. Now lets get a good 2-2 series here and a 2-2 series tie with the Heat. After all of this, I feel the best thing that can happen for the Panthers is to go down 3-1 so they actually play hard each game to win the series in 7, but yo know rather win it in FL game 6.
I still fully expect vegas to take this in 5. And if not my prediction of vegas in 6 is still on the table.

I seem to be one of the few who thinks that Panthers wasn't all bad in the first two games.
3-4 posts and an insane save by Hill in game 1, and in game 2, while Vegas was better, not a single bounce went Floridas way. Which it did this game.
Vegas is a dangerous team, and they need to stay out of the box.

3:38 the way I see it, if the Panthers want to be the first team since 2011 to comeback down 2-0, they need to limit their penalties. Penalty Kill is the worst aspect of their game, by far

Without question, my Panthers committed some stupid penalties. However, the officiating was an absolutely embarrassing spectacle with some real shit calls.
Getting ready for bed, I watched the NHL app on my phone count down the end of regulation, posting a 2-1 win for Vegas, 3-0 lead in the series. Woke up to find otherwise. Anyone else get spoofed?

As a Panthers fan, I feel like that nearly two weeks break that we had was not beneficial to the team, especially not beneficial for Bob. Hopefully, this win gets there playoff skates rolling again. Let's go cats!

Verhage, or however his name is spelled, has quite a little quiet thing going on. 4 GWG of which 2 OT GWG. He is currently halfway to Joe Sakic's 8 GWG PO record and has done it in less than a 3rd the games. His 2 OT GWG is 1 behind Mel 'Sudden Death' Hill's of 3 for a single PO year. Plenty of time and games ahead for this.
Both Tkachuk and Bennett have tied Ray Ferraro with 4 OT points in one PO year.
Could see some long time records fall this year. Go OT!

First off, Bob had a series-saving game for the Panthers. Can't take anything away from him.
Secondly, in 40+ years as an avid sports fan, the only team I can think of where the term "failure is not an option" applies more than it does to this Vegas team… is the 2008 US men's basketball team. Vegas losing this series would be nothing short of an apocalypse.
The Panthers found that Vegas was tired late in the game. Just like Carolina. Now they need to use that advantage.

To me (I am cheering for Vegas), the only penalty that was called that I honestly didn't think was a penalty was the trip at the end of the 3rd. Everything else that was called, was a penalty. There were definitely some missed high sticks and too many men on the ice calls. The refs are calling it tight and for the first time Vegas looked really undisciplined, but it didn't cost them in goals, but it cost them in momentum of the game and decreased the 5 v 5 time allowing for more offensive chances. Vegas needs to get back to screening Bob if they want chances at scoring 5 v 5.
