And your point? You had to try really hard to find a very obscure statistic to force a narrative that Carter hart is any good.
Hart was sold to us as a franchise goalie. Potentially an "elite" one. After 5 years he's an average goalie at best. And that's factoring in he's been on a bad team. His career win/loss, save % and little to no shutouts tell you all you need to know.
To me he's the Carson wentz of the Flyers. At times over the years looked like a star, but ultimately overhyped and a bum.
Get rid of the entire team I say. There's 0 reason ANYONE on this squad should be safe.
I totally agree. Errson showed promise in a small sample size. Sandstrom is so-so at best, & probably will be traded. But this Peterson acquisition is a head-scratcher for me. But he may be given the chance to battle with Errson for the back-up spot. He was good 4 years ago, 2019, in a small sample size ( 11 games ) for LA. Had his most # of starts (35) in the COVID year when the entire league was turned upside down. How many has Hart averaged in his young career so far you might ask ( 55+ ). Since then Peterson's stats have dropped so badly that he's been banished to the 3rd back-up spot on their AHL team. And he makes over $5 million a year to occupy the farthest seat on the bench. Now the salary cap – strapped Flyers may have to eat that salary. Hart needs to stay.

carter hart is a head case. these comparisons to Bernie parent and others are ridiculous. he is inconsistent and would fold in a Stanley cup final. then again he could never take us to one.

They have a considerable part of the rebuild already finished? One trade. One trade. Oh wait, do you think changing the front office is the toughest part of a rebuild?
The problem is the Flyers need assets. The only players that bring back real assets are Provorov, Hart and Konecny. You see what we got for Provorov as you can atleast get that for Hart, or more.
This team has been so mismanaged (even before Fletcher), that they need to literally clean house and if they get a Provorov return for Hart, you do it.
