Rishaug: « Vegas a battu les Oilers à force égale »

  1. A team that highlights all their individual players best attributes to their advantage. Great series overall.

  2. Bettman made sure the oilers didn't get any penalties.. Counter 7 holding missed calls

  3. Yep. It's honestly baffling how a team with RNH, McDavid, Kane, Draisaitl, and Hyman, score so little at 5-on-5. I mean, you got swiss army knife, you got sniper, you got dangler, you got power forward, and you got crease rat.

I really would expect more goals out of this roster. They just blew it. No excuses. Their continued bad defensive play, was no off-set by their goal scoring.

  4. On a side note, I'm not sure if the YouTube censorship "AI" has gone off the rails or something, but, replies aren't working right, upvotes aren't working right. Not sure if anyone else is having this problem, but, I posted some replies, that just disappear into thing air. Upvoted some comments, that just don't even register.

    This place needs a cleansing.

  5. Boycotting hockey. These whole playoffs have proved that the NHL is more corrupt than FIFA. The reffing, the calls, it was all rigged and as per usual- with American bias.

  6. Vegas didn't beat the soilers at even strenght – THE SOILERS BEAT THEMSELVES AT EVEN STRENGTH.

This is what you get when you put all of your eggs into one basket. Their entire gameplan is a 'hit two birds with one stone' approach: use McPowerplay to dangle into the o-zone and score a goal or have him fall down on his ass and draw a call.

  7. Best team in the regular season? At what point was Edmonton better then Boston during the regular season? I'll wait……I take it the record breaking Boston Bruins weren't accounted for since that would be unfair? Boston was so good they set all time records for points in a season (135) and most wins in a season (65 wins in 82 games).

  8. Vegas did better then Edmonton because Vegas didn't forgo an entire defense for 2 power forwards who score alot until they come up against a team with a defense. Every year Canadians say this is the year Edmonton or Toronto win the Cup and every year I have to remind them neither team is going anywhere until they build a well-rounded team. Its been fun watching McDavid/Draisaitl rack up points during the regular season but its time to split them up and buy a defense in Edmonton. I know what Canadians will say, "are you crazy?!"…….and to that I will say, I will let Edmonton's playoff record speak for itself.

  9. Over the course of 6 years, the Oilers picked #1 overall four times. During that same spread, their average top pick was #2.33. Here is a rundown of some other teams over their best 6-year spans.

    2.33 Edmonton Oilers (2010 to 2015)

    3.17 Quebec Nordiques (1987 to 1992)

    3.33 Ottawa Senators (1992 to 1997)

    4.67 Buffalo Sabres (2014 to 2019)

    5.17 Pittsburgh Penguins (2002 to 2007)

    5.33 New Jersey Devils (2017 to 2022)

    6.50 Chicago Blackhawks (2003 to 2008)

    7.17 Florida Panthers (2010 to 2015)

  10. The NHL did their best to disrupt the Oilers flow by scheduling 3,4 days in between games, late starts
Didnt help that Nurse is a liability.

  11. Not particularly hard. Edmonton is so one dimensional. If you can stay out of the box you neuter them.

  12. Oilers are NOT a team. McDingbat and Drycrotch can’t do it all. They have a TERRIBLE defense, very weak goalies and absolutely NO depth. The Oilers are very far off and have alot of work to do.

  13. Where the tf was Nugent-Hopkins?? 1 goal in the enitire 12 games?? He's a beneficiary of the Drai/ McDavid system

  14. Goaltending is the biggest issue. Love Stu and Campbell is a great teammate. But .917 as a team wins championships not sub .900

  15. Nearly all glove side to, skinner is a bum who only looks good because of the offence in front of him.

  16. So much bullshit,I'm not an Edmonton fan but I do know that when one team gets called for every little penalty and the other runs around high sticking and slew footing and not getting called, the players change the way they play , this would explain why their were only 4 calls in the last game. The NHL refs should be held accountable for their bad calls.

  17. ** JUST SAYING ! if NURSE had got an end of season suspension OILERS WOULD HAVE WON IT ALL !! He IS a SLUG !

  18. Said it before the playoffs the Oilers suck 5 on 5. Not shocked.

  19. I think sometimes when you are too deep in the bush you stop seeing the trees. Even a Pro coach can miss the obvious. Leon Draisaitl gets lost defensively at times particularly when someone has taken the time to scrutinize his play. He is a great hockey player but he really looked like a lost puppy, when Vegas was pushing in the Oilers zone. Oiler coach could have remedied that by not putting him on against Vegas top shooters, and talking about what is expected of him.

  20. How do you stop EDM? Stay out of the box, plain and simple. They aren't good even strength. One dimension team that needs "TEAM DEFENSE".

  21. All and all most of the Oilers looked a step behind most of the time last night. Beaten constantly to the puck and checking them selves by over skating it, miss handling it, not seeing the open man and not reading the play defensively. There were several times when an Oiler would try keeping the puck to look for a play when it was clear the puck should have been whipped in deep around the boards. It was just a lot of over thinking. At times very disorganized.

  22. Vegas had Skinner figured out. Pulling him 3 times in 6 games and not starting Campbell the following game was confusing to me. Especially since Campbell looked good in relief.

  23. ive said it all year… i like this william karlson WAY MORE than the 42 goals in the regular season we got from him in year one.

  24. Yea it's hilarious that people keep saying, well you have mcdavid and draisaitl, the two best players in the leauge and you can't win a cup, but actually look at how they both played in the last two games, not good enough.

  25. And oilers fans were bitching about how the oilers had the greatest powerplay ever lol…thats the thing they were only good at powerplays lmao…

  26. Im no expert but maybe playing McDavid and Draisaitl half the game in the first round vs. LA might have gassed them?

  27. I'm surprised the Oilers can't really win without their powerplay. You can't assume you're gonna get 5 powerplays every night and blow every team out of the water to the way of the Stanley Cup.

  28. Draisaitl has always been a defensive liability & will continue to be going forward. Elite finisher but confused without the puck & wondering in own zone. Brutal bad team for 10 years straight, now only 1 year left to cash in before "trade Draisaitl" talk will start to heat up.
