It would have been extremely stupid if it was Montreal or bust for real. A lot of habs media have circulated that maybe we dont really want him for a while. now that doesnt mean they wont try to get it but what would happen to Dubois if the habs thought the price was too high and didnt really want or need him>

#80 has 5-6 teams he's willing to sign with long term. Jets will sign him for 8×9 mill, and trade him for the best offer. Dubois wants to get PAID or win a cup. Montreal doesn't want to pay, and is far from a cup.

don't like Dubois demanding trades all the time but if it's more than just 1 team in the mix maybe the jets can get something decent in return

I would not sign him. He seems unhappy everywhere. Wasted a large amount of his career not happy rather than making the most of it. Not the right mental attititude for a player with so much potential
Dubois is a suck-hole. He disappears for 5-8 games at a time. He’s almost un-coachable. I pity an team that wants this guy, unless you are the Habs

If the Jets are looking for a top 2 C in trade for PLD then forget the Habs. Suzuki and Dach aren't going anywhere. I'd be willing to trade DVo, FLAs 1st and a young left D but not sure which. I like Harris' composure on the ice and Guhle is a hard no. Would Matheson make the deal look better? He still has 3 years left on his deal and KC likes guys with term.
