I know CBJ fanbase wants to part ways with Boqvist at some point to bring Jiricek in the line up eventually.
Is it too soon tho for that ? I reccon Jiricek could use another year before the big jump.. i’d see more Boqvist be a TDL trade if they see at that time they are near a playoff spot and wanna push for a run. I don’t see them make a rush move quite yet.
That said Boqvist would be a great addition to the core, and it might deter Kent from using our 5OA on a RD ?

Idk what Columbus is doing tbh.
They have one of the best prospect pool in the league with plenty of young exciting players like Johnson and Marchenko but suddenly they want to make the playoffs NOW. Ownership probably has something to do with it but signing Gudbranson 4×4, Severson 8×6.25 and paying a first++ for Provorov is ludicrous. And bringing a coach in Babcock who’s gonna be hard on the rookies.

Can’t see Habs using a 1st to get Boqvist, but if they feel like there is some untapped potential, I wouldn’t be upset with a 3rd round pick (maybe a late 2nd) being used to get him
