I hate to say it, but we probably should look into moving him. He’s been such an amazing guy for us and I’d hate to lose him, but as he’s aged hes gotten more and more injury prone.
He’s a kinda guy though where I’d be fine letting his contract run out over shipping him off. Even though it’s crap asset management, I feel like he deserves the respect.

Extend or trade if they don’t sign: Lindholm, Hanifin, and Kylington
Hold and try to re-sign next season: Tanev and Zadorov
Backlund is a special case in my opinion. If he wants to go to a contender you trade him, if he is willing to sign a team friendly extension you extend him, otherwise you hold onto him and see how the season goes.
