I don’t understand Chevy of not wanting to rebuild, if hellys gone we need to rebuild. Start fresh, get rid of the current core and refresh this team and bring the young guys in and let them develop.

I’d rather see young fresh players trying a hundred percent. With our high shots on net against us we are screwed. If we can’t be more defensively aware next season we will be looking at a high draft pick.
Fire this GM. The new GM should have say over what return these major assets could bring in.
Helly a no show in the playoffs all good to me
I really don't know what upsets me more – players wanting to leave Winnipeg, the team squandering opportunities, the locker room strife, or all the negative press our city seems to get. Sigh
At this point the Jets are making the Yotes look well managed.
1. I don't blame Helle, hoping he goes to a true contender and wins it all.
2. How Does Chevy still have a job? Does anyone have confidence with him still at the helm?
3. The team has no direction, no accountability, and a reputation in the dumps for players.

With recent players coming forward and saying they want to leave Winnipeg, I just don't see how a ''retool'' works? I think Chevy was just trying to convince his players not to jump ship and he was trying to save his job. To me, NO WAY chevy keeps his job. He should'nt be the guy that retools this team. I'm a habs fan but have always liked the Jets. It's a bummer to see this team fall from grace but, I think the real thing that started the core going to shit was Big Buff's departure. This summer is CRUCIAL for the jets if you guys manage to get good return on guys like Scheiffele/Hellebuyck/Wheeler/Dubois you could retool this team rather quickly! Don't loose hope there Jets fans you still have guys like perfetti and Lambert!
P.S. as a habs fan I still hope we land Dubois 😉 If I were Hughes I'd send something like: FLA 1st+Owen Beck+ Joran Harris (Maybe Dvorak too as a salary dump that could play centre for you guys for a year or two)
