Hoping Mcdavid shoots the puck, after he hit 60 it seems like he goes for the pass, hurt them last night, must score at all costs. Also, enjoy the different scenery, makes it feel more connectable yk.
I agree with everything you said. If the Oilers don't take that penalty late in the 3rd, they probably win 3-2.
It was not on skinner by no means. Refs really showed their colors. Kane couldn't keep his cool. Bouch couldn't keep his cool. Defense forgot what got them the 50 wins.
i liked the physicality of the oilers, but they were too wild….
Should have scored 3:0, they had great chances, Kane is glorious, but….don't take that many penalties….
Cut yamos icetime in half and just let bouchard play on the p.p and we will be fine

The fat lady hasn't sang yet. It takes 4 to win a series. Last time I checked, last year the Kings won the 1st game but not the series

Actually they had 7 penalty’s Kostin 1, Desharnais 1, Hyman 1, Kane 2 and Bouchard 2. 6 is unacceptable but 7 is like a getting a touchdown and landing in smelly 💩

Watching the Oilers play that game, they looked good. The penalties got them. The jitters are likely gone, so I would say it will be great from here on!
Kane, Bouchard with stupid penalties, we had that game we gave it to them.

I'm not worried about Skinner. It was hos first career playoff game, he'll be fine in the playoffs.

Game 2 is McDavids revenge game, like you said he could’ve had a hat trick in the first I think he might have a Hatty in him for game two I mean it is McDavid so…
Focus on the positives of game 1 … everyone frustrated about it because the oilers are the better team!

Kings are a good team and it’s just one loss. This team has the capability to beat any team. The leafs and knight both lost their opening games and it was not as close as the teams ot loss. Plenty of time to get things in order. A few players did not play their best like Cece but it’s a games of mistakes.
EDM had 7 penalties… 14mins of 60 so >20% of the time. Too 6 penalties after 1st Period (5in a row) vs 1 by LA…. No team can expect to Win/beat the other if they play 1 short for 25% of the time !!! Most basic skill is to make sure you have less penalties than the opposition. All penalties in mid-ice/not protecting a scoring chance. So undisciplined & low desire to win… in fact, a specific action to beat selves.. Look mostly at Kane & Bouch (who do it a lot)…. & COACH !!!
Really hope we don't go down by 2 tonight.
