It does when management and ownership keep beating a dead horse!
Rebuild means trading away KFC, Ehlers and JMo as well when instead we could retool around them adding in outside players around the same ages using PLD, Helle and Scheif to gain those players.
Adding in Perfetti, Lambert, McGroaty to create the new core also helps.
I’m not against a rebuild, I just think we could retool instead.
The Jets have an amazing opportunity to » retool » this off season and become competitive by making making the right trades for 80 55 26 and potentially 37 if the the right returns are offered! Get it done GM !
Irl trade Schief, Dubois, Bucky for a core slightly younger than Conner, ehlers and morrisey, let those three help lead the new players and our prospects and by the time C/E/M are matured players with still a good amount of fuel in the tank, our surrounding team will be ready to go.
Problem is no one want to come here. Have to trade for a player that has term and doesn’t have Winnipeg on their no trade clause. Easy to retool for teams like Vegas, Tampa Bay etc. Also, the tax issue in Manitoba. Going to be a tough job for Chevy.

It doesn’t but letting the GM who led all these horses to water only to discover they don’t want to drink, guide the rebuild is just completely a(s my brother in law would say) bollocks in my opinion.
