Sell the team!
Horvat trade return looking like a bust so far. Raty did nothing in the AHL or NHL this year, Beauvillier basically a middling winger who put up numbers down the stretch playing with Pettersson in a no pressure out of the playoffs situation, and the first round pick which would have been number 17 this year which they traded for Hronek. Only way this somewhat works out is if Hronek turns out to be a consistent top 4 defenseman for the foreseaable future
If the Canucks need to trade Beauvillier, it would be better for the team to have him play alongside Pettersson and Kuzmenko to pump up his stats. Get him on a 60+ point pace and then unload him at the trade deadline if the Canucks are out of the race or just hovering.
He has played well in the post-season previously and is on an expiring contract. Could easily fetch at least a 2nd rounder if he's on a role and if the Canucks retain 50% for the rest of the season.
