It’s things like this that give me belief that he will follow the footsteps and be my next fav captain since Muller/Koivu. He gets it.
With a captain like this, and being so open about signing « team friendly » contracts so a team can compete for the Cup is music to every Hab’s fan’s ears.
I find it amazing that Vegas essentially gave away Pacioretty and then won the cup. Makes me wonder if Vegas would’ve won a cup with Suzuki if they never acquired Pacioretty from the Habs.

I have no doubt they will. But I don’t think I’ve ever heard of a player commenting on their own or another players contract as being team friendly.
