« reports » as in makes an educated guess considering it’s an open secret we need to shed cap? Didn’t they just come out and say Brock is unlikely to be moved, they’re happy to have him wanting to be back?

Brock has been on the market for like 4 years now.
And I don’t think any of these guys has ever been considered a core piece from this mgmt group so they’ve been available for at least 2 years and no one wants them

Out of any of those guys, I think Garland is the one you prioritize. Promote Hoglander to his spot on the 3rd line.
With Ethan Bear out until x-mas, you may as well hold Myers into the season, and move him closer to the TDL.
I’d hold onto Brock since he has a more meaningful role on the team than Garland.
Other than Brock I think it’s good

Trade rumours about Boeser has been around for years.
Management has also said they are very happy to keep Boeser, after Boeser rescinded his trade request. This is mostly a « we’ll listen to offers on anyone we can trade to shed cap. » Everyone on the roster not named Pettersson and Hughes should be « on the market. »

Wouldn’t Beauvillier be easier to move than Boeser/Garland with only 1 year left on his deal and a lower cap hit? I really wonder what management’s plans are for him. He’s not as good of a player but it’s just weird there isn’t as much trade speculation around him.

I’d actually be stunned if the move Myers this summer after Bear’s injury news. I think he stinks but if you trade Myers your right side on opening night is like Hronek and then you’re into Burroughs/Juulsen/McWard etc.
Though they’d probably spend depressingly on some mid ass UFA like Klingberg, Holl, Clifton, etc
As far as the wingers go its whichever one someone is willing to take at zero dollars retained/returned. Hopefully some GM looks at the UFAs and prefers spending a 3rd on something rather than 30 million.
