Another Cup Finals, another « critical offseason » for the Vancouver Canucks. Ahhhh how things (don’t) change!
Went through about 8000 eliteprospects pages for the 9 remaining sad clubs in the NHL who’ve existed since the 04-05 lockout to figure out where each team sits in the « sadness rankings »
Though this was ultimately a very depressing exercise, it was also cathartic, and fun! Hope you all enjoy this bit of comedy—or as someone in the comments put it « edutainment »

You know what really caught my eye in that article? – Canucks only bottom 5 team to trade away a 1st & 2nd pick and be over the cap.
