This feels like a fan service hire but I’m excited nonetheless. We have people in charge who have close ties to the organization and I think there’s a level of care that comes along with it that might be a recipe for success.
This is not to say that GMBT didn’t care about his job, he was by far the best GM we’ve had for decades. He left big shoes to fill. But I’m confident that Conroy with Iggy backing him up are going to produce a better team and honestly a team that maybe more bigger players want to play for in the future.
