  1. If they had taken 1 more second to get down the ice we would've gone to a shootout. Disappointed we lost. But a good goal nonetheless

  2. I love Tkachuk and loved his dad. Enjoy his scrappy approach to the game. What a great goal just to remind everyone that he’s a quality player, too. Fantastic goal.

  3. Top cheese from the hashmarks, between the legs, one second left in OT. It will win goal of the year, the circumstances just cannot be beat.

  4. See this is another reason why Tkachuk deserves the flames highest salary, normally players make plays look easy but this still looks impossible.

  5. It's a great goal because he wasn't actually trying to be a "hot dog", just trying to get a shot on net in an awkward position. Beauty!

  6. That is definitely goal of the year so far,Rinne no chance because release point came before Rinne could even get his feet set.
Lacrosse goals I personally think is cheating, apology, its like traveling in basketball, if it gets out of hand it will be a problem for league.anyone who played hockey can do it,I think it's for the beer league

  7. Yeah …..no. But hey …. TV sports chat's gotta hype the latest and greatest news !!! …… and especially if it is a Canadian team player !!! O M G !! Feed the audience the Kool-Aid they crave !!

NJ Devil Derek Coleman goal ….. no skate blades on the ice (Tkachuk had both blades anchored into the ice), and only hand on the stick (Tkachuk had both hands handling his stick). Like Tkachuk's, Coleman's shot went top corner.

Tkachuck is a definite candidate for # 2 goal though.

  8. Preds fan but gotta admit that was absolutely epic!
Definitely in the running for one of the best goals of the year!

  9. Pastrnak's was more impressive imo! Pastrnak went 5 hole, while backing up between the legs! Also its ot, 3on3 makes it easier to score a nasty goal! This goal was a sweet goal, but not the best, I've seen a dozen plus better goals this season!

  10. Flithy, just flithy!

I didn't hear anyone chanting their juvenile rhymes in the building on that one!

  12. What's amazing about this is the split second decision making. You can plan moves like that but to do it off the cuff is what stands out about this goal.

  13. Remember when the Canucks and Oilers Chose Juolevi and Puljujarvi over this guy? 🤦‍♂️
