Buy him out he’s done in this league 😮
Kyle dubas masterclass. First he lets go Freddy Andersen for mrazek, then trades a first to move him, only to bring in Murray. Promotion to President material right there
In 8 years, Vancouver will be off the hook for OEL. Bobby Bonilla will still have four more years of income ahead.
You're not clearing much cap space at all by Buying Murray out, either trade more draft picks for someone else to pay him or eat if for another season, buying him out won't creat 1M in cap space, Dubas fucked Toronto bad trying to build the Soo Greyhounds in Toronto 😂
Unfortunately for Murray, he’s cooked. Maybe they can get lucky if he gets sent to LTIR so they don’t have to deal with the buyout at all.
Thanks dubie
watch the leafs not have cap space next year and they blame it ob buying him out instead of trading him
Although skilled goalie hes about the most fragile goalie in the league imo, missed alot of time on the pens which were his best years.
Murray isn't an NHL goalie anymore. The Leafs need cap space, and MM is dead weight. Buy him out and see what you can get in free agency. Practically anyone will be an upgrade over Murray right now.
Sure buy out a goaltender that is LTIR or playing well. Sure, Craig. Great idea.
Great content. Wish I could hear it.
buy murray out year 1 you save 4 million, year 2 you save 2.6 million, because year 1 you only have to pay cap hit of 600k and year 2 – 2million
What are they waiting for its woll and samsonov in net . Murray already proved he is injury prone so buy him out is only option you not giving up another draft pick to get rid of his contract thats absolutely stupid. Trading him doesnt make sence either because you have to probably take back someone else bad contract. The cap is going up anyway its only a small amount towards your cap the 1st year the 2nd year it will be little over 2 million but the cap going up anyway.
Trade Murray for a bag of broken sticks send a fourth rounder with him
Murray was nothing but an albatross around this teams neck since day one. Another huge mistake by the wonderboy Kyle Dumbass.
Just put Murray on LTIR, done, why bother buying him out?
Get rid of Murray biggest waste of time
Time for Murray to take a trip to Robidas Island.
Ok, let's play the Joseph Woll card.
7 games played.
Goes 6-1.
Pretty good.
Faced 4 non playoff teams (including Columbus, twice, going 1-1), and the Rangers and Lightning when both teams were resting players.
Saying he's a better goalie than Murray (who played 24 games, with 13 against playoff teams, 14-8-2) is a bit like saying Calgary was a better team than the Panthers because they had more points.
Ok.
But they also had 4 fewer wins.
Trade Murray to Pittsburgh
Trade him. Draft picks mean nothing to Toronto since they already have a playoff team long term. Send him to Chicago for picks like always with cap dump players on the leafs. Chicago could send back quality depth players in the trade too
Ppl are saying the Leafs will try to cheat the LTIR system by stuffing Murray on Robidas Island…Lol
they should be tanking for celebrini not trying to make the playoffs lol
leafs should just let murray ride out for the year.
Dubas gave away first round picks like they were fortune cookies.
