  1. Not necessarily but I’d like a D on the team that’s better than Rielly if possible so he can mainly be used on offensive zone starts rather than all situations since his play in his own zone is hard to watch at times.

But the problem is defensemen better than Rielly don’t grow on trees.

  2. Rielly's contract isn't even that bad, if any other team signed Rielly to that contract it'd be considered one of the league's best deals I stg

  3. Morgan Rielly is not only the Leafs best defenceman; he's also the heart of that team. He took less money and 8 years to stay here. You trade him the heart and soul of the dressing room is gone. He's the one Leaf I don't want to see traded.

  4. I think Morgan has been mis-cast from day one. He's not a 1a. He's a 1b or 2a. I'd keep him but $$ wise it seems impossible to bring in 1 (or 2) stud d-man quarterbacks, and keep Rielly AND keep our high-priced forwards. I'd deal Rielly and either 1 of Matthews, Marner or Willie. Preferably Marner. I just don't think he can adjust his game in the post-season. Reg season he's a magician but that doesn't win when it matters. But who's available to make this happen? It's a tall order sadly.

  5. None of Kerfoot, Holl, or Bunting should be back. 2 overpaid underachievers and a guy who’s peaked and will be overpaid by someone else

  6. 45. 45 second of a 8min 15 second video are an ad for sports gambling. That equates to 45 out of 495 seconds of this video are spent shilling for sports gambling, or, in simpler terms, 11% of this video isn’t even about sports, it’s about sports gambling. Be better SDPN

  7. I am a Habs fan but I can’t help but get lost in the drama that is the Leafs. It’s the best soap opera in sports. 😂

It’s clear that you guys have no idea what to do. On paper have one of the best teams in the league. Come playoff you look like Tarzan play like Jane. It’s very intriguing from the outside looking in.

  8. Unsubbed due to your awful takes and that stupid "pride" flag. It will be nice not hearing someone shill for a gambling website. Kick rocks.

  9. If the Leafs trade Reilly, they’ll be cutting the heart out of their team, like they did with Kadri. Dumb question

  10. What’s about Johnny T for Erick Karlson . Whatever else in between you guys can have fun with the fillers .

  11. Absolutely not Morgan Reilly was the best Leaf in the playoffs very good and smart with the puck

  12. Blame a guy like Kerfoot is ridiculous when he did not have much too play with. They have continually lost support players for nothing. The team has gotten worse over the last couple of years. Losing Anderson, Campbell, Hyman, Mikheyev. Kapanen, Barrie, Sandin and now Kerfoot/Bunting for nothing. Dubas the worst GM record ever. Never mind the lost draft picks for bad deadline deals like Foligno. Bringing in Mrasek and paying to get rid of his contract. His claim to fame is the ability to overpay 4 guys and have zero long term plan for the rest of the team. We now are up against the wall because the same guys do not need to resign and have no move clauses kicking in just a few weeks. Thanks Dubas you can now screw up Pittsburgh.

  13. When the Leafs assembled this core they should have went out and got him a decent pairing partner in the top 2

  14. If the Leafs are tired of Rielly can trade him back to Vancouver. The Canucks need a defensemen like that! Leafs fans will say what do we get back? Cap space, prospect, and a 1st round pick.

  15. He's the only one who plays with heart fcs! He took a discount to stay, and is a good d man.
So…..yeah the leafs will do the logical thing, I'm sure.
They can trade him and give money to 34.
    Good call

  16. Morgan Reilly is an overrated overpaid 2nd pair defenceman. Wow he scored a few clutch goals with his weak wrist shot that beat Vaselevsky because he sucks on seeing eye shots. He can't take a slap shot if his life depended on it. Cmon Morgan Reilly is not a top notch D man at all. He's like Nurse in Edmonton but worse. Morgan even admitted he doesn't like to take slap shots but I'm sorry I saw some amazing defenceman take blistering slap shots that still give goalies a very big problem. Morgans shitty wrist shots quarterbacking a pp is just Ludacris. We need a hedman type dman that can just walk into a blast from the point. Its so needed here that Evan Bouchard has the Bouch bomb as they call it on the pp that beats the goalie more times then not. Morgan Reilly scores none of those goals maybe one of it wasn't Vaselevsky which sounds funny but he is known for being terrible on those wrist shots from the point. But Morgan wasn't just using that as a weapon that's his shot all year and 99% of good NHL goalies stop those unless it's tipped or hits 3 people on its way in. Wake up we need a real top defenceman not Morgan Reilly who I may add sucks at being a defenceman most of the time as well. Vegas has no defenceman at all that remind me of morgan Reilly . The Leafs should traded him or use him in on the 2nd pair and 2nd pp.

  17. Did Jesse say a Murray buyout would screw the sens? The Leafs taking Murray off their hands screwed the leafs over far worse.

  18. There is a strong case to trade Morgan Rielly I beleive and here is why.
    – Rielly stock at the moment is high right now and is probably the highest it will ever be.
    – $7.5 Million until 2030, bringing Rielly to the age of 36 or 37.
    – Morgan was once one of the fastest d-men in the NHL but injuries have slowed him down and he will only get slower from here.
    – Finding a D partner who plays well with Rielly has been a chore and taxing and I suspect he is difficult to play with.
    – Reilly has a butter soft shot for an OFD and requires significant screening efforts in order to slip one past the goalie.
    – His defensive abilities leave a lot to be desired especially now that he has slowed down after injuries.
    – Deffienetly not the most physical d-man and lacks aggressiveness.

I know the guy is a fan favorite but let's be honest, Rielly is not a true #1 d-man and on some teams he would be a #3 or a #4 and that contract has a likelyhood of aging poorly.

  19. Rielly is the only Leaf who should have NMC and the last one to even thought to trade. Matthews should be traded for a haul even more so if he doesnt sign for example 4 years for 9 million per season. He would TaKe discount because he allready have made a bank. He doesnt need more money he needs better defence and more gritty team mates because he is soft as a woke people.
