"Overall" the Team lacks leadership and character, so bring in guys like Lucic and Perry for the new Dinosaur line. Flyers want too much for Laughton, it's ridiculous. Bring back Connor Brown, he's available. I won't be surprised if Kerfoot and Holl wind up in Pittsburgh. The team needs a top 4 D, and a top 6 LW. With little cap space, the bargain bin shopping continues if they insist on keeping the so called core together. I think Nylander will get traded at some point during the summer for the top 4 D they need. Wish there was room for O'Reilly, but can't afford him.
Most likely they'll barely make any moves and keep the 4. BAD move. Aside of Boston and Tampa, Buffalo will get better and then there's Florida. This is not going to be easy just getting to the first round again.

Kerfoot and Jarnkrok were both ghosts in the playoffs and are the exact opposite of the role players the leafs need. Lucic with Lafferty and Acciari would be a 4th line that can wear down teams in the playoffs. Laughton is also that type of guy for the bottom 6. Laughton-Kampf-? on the 3rd line. Hope Jarnkrok and Brodie are gone before the season starts.
Laughton and Kerfoot aren't comparable in my opinion. Laughton is a guy who crashes and makes space in the playoffs. Something that neither Kerfoot or Robertson can do. The Leafs need to get a lot bigger and tougher. Don't really like moving the first but if they can move out some muchkins for men then lets do it.

Did anybody watch that game last night? Could you imagine how thoroughly outmatched Lucic would have been up against the Knights? No, of course you can't, because he wouldn't even have been on the ice! What a complete waste of resource that would be, even at the league minimum. I wouldn’t compare kerfoot and Laughton. Laughtons game definitely is playoff style. He’s playing for a Philly team and hit a career high lol. Kerfoot by far has plenty of talent to play here and put up just as many points… I wouldn’t give up a first rounder but maybe if Philly retained cap and we could include hart in this trade

Lucic is washed up. Nobody from any kind of management or Leafs organization have mentioned it. Rosehill brought it up in the interview and Lucic put it out there trying to drum some interest. He will NOT be a leaf. I would believe the Laughton rumour over the Lucic rumour.
