    So funny seeing all these yet again casual Mavs fans saying no to Ayton. Yea instead of getting a 24 year old potential all star center who’s a legit 7 feet who can learn and develop under Tyson Chandler and Dirk let’s go get a mid and injury prone Myles Turner or Clint Capela lmao. THJ, Maxi, Green & McGee for Ayton is perfect gets off long term money and still keep your picks. I’d also do Bertans & Bullock for Collins & 15 right now Collins has no floor spacing in Atlanta that’s the biggest issue. Now with all of that Mavs would still be under the tax which would allow them the full MLE + the other 5m ( forgot the name of it ) plus 2 young pieces if you don’t trade either pick to move down for more picks. All together that’s 6 brand new pieces at minimum. Now with 10 you draft Gradey to fill that THJ shooting you lost and 15 you may still get a Coulibaly or whoever falls or if you trade back get multiple young pieces. People gotta stop worrying about $ the real problem is that a lot of the Mavs issues is the $ is being wasted on guys who aren’t even in the starting lineup. Collins is an instant upgrade at the 4 averages 1.0 blocks a game paired with Ayton just under .8 a game but also both can switch and have quick feet and both are big. With the MLE & the 5m now you can go out and take a flyer on a Thybulle ( elite elite defense ), Grant Williams, Jalen McDaniels etc. Now the Mavs biggest weakness’s last year are completely fixed and upgraded. Ayton is extremely efficient Luka needs that in a big man and Ayton will be way more involved in the offense here then the Suns because let’s be honest the Center for the Mavs dam near touches the ball every possession which will keep Ayton engaged and not feel like he’s being casted aside.
