Dang it I wish he would come back to Chicago

  2. GlitteredRoomForView

So income tax free states or home to Michigan…

  3. ubcthrowaway-01

Vegas is out thanks to their enormous amount of open cap space.

Preds are headed towards a rebuild, they’ve got incredible prospects coming up like Askarov and Kemell, they’ll likely be only doing this in the case that Saros isn’t staying since he’s the ultimate anti tank commander

I don’t see Yzerman going for Cat. Detroit has a lot of good wingers already, but I can see him being traded for Larkin

Florida doesn’t have the assets to give Ottawa

Tampa Bay and Dallas seem like they could make a move, but I doubt Dallas goes for him

  4. --Stabstract--

Good to see Vegas’s cold reputation keeps the good players from wanting to go there.

  5. Shiny_Mew76

DeTringcat sounds like a cool combo!

Detroit + DeBrincat is the combo by the way.

  6. 931634

5 of the 7 no income tax states .. no one is surprised.

None of these guys want to win (not that he’s winning shit in Ottawa), they just want to make as much money as they can before their time is up …

DET trades Sebastian Cossa, Ben Chiarot, a first, second and fourth rounder to OTT for Debrincat and Cam Talbot

    Or

NSH trades Yaroslav Askarov, Dante Fabbro and a first rounder for Debrincat and Lassi Thomson

  8. Faceit_Solveit

No state income tax in Texas. Property tax relief coming. Just fascism if you’re female.

  9. sassafrasgloves

NHL and other sports leagues have to balance out the disadvantage the income tax states have against non income tax states

  10. cote112

The sorting hat says, « Nashville! »

  11. trv213

I wonder how Tampa would swing this isn’t debrincat like 9mil Aav?

  12. ThePoetMichael

Must go to cat name per his name

  13. mcleary82

I think he would be great as a Red Wing. Not sure he gets them into playoff contention but he’d take Bertuzzis role from two years ago.

  14. Non-Vanilla_Zilla

Yet another example of why we need a tax-adjusted cap.

  15. ATS606

So every central team besides the Blues? Yeah he’s still a blackhawk. Also, fuck you.

  16. Flex1855

Imagine almost every team you wanna play for has played in or won the last 4 cups, talk about a « wish » lost like MFer you were in chi ott how bout a step up to like Calgary first

  17. Electronic_Nail

I don’t think that any of his preferred teams are going to trade for him… Detroit is only possibility I can see trading for him

  18. screechypete

My fellow Sens fans are thoroughly convinced that he’s going to Detroit. They’ve been doom posting about it for a while now over in Senators subreddit.

  19. itsMurphDogg

Detroit has a bunch of home town guys right now, would be cool to get another good one

  20. DonkenG

Since Vegas needs to sign Barbashev and Hill with $3.5 million in cap space, I highly doubt we are going for him.

  21. TIMBURWOLF

Please Tampa please Tampa please Tampa…

  22. bonesrentalagency

Jeez if he came to detroit like a fifth of the team would be Michigan boys. There’s something really charming about that to me

  23. Markschild

I thought you had to be good to Demand a trade

  24. threeSimpsonsTshirts

If he can’t come back to Chicago I guess I want him to go to Dallas. I think he’d blend in well with their core. But Detroit is his hometown team, and he might wanna be home for a bit with his young kid. But if he wants to win soon it ain’t Detroit.

  25. Spoobier

if I’m Nashville’s gm I’m dedicating my life to making sure i get this guy
