If Peca had anything to do with helping Tage Thompson go from near bust to top 10 power forward…then this hiring might be an amazing get.

Kreider had 36 goals and the six in the playoff series. Agree Jon hopefully PL will get the most out of him, including more assists.
LOL!… Did you say that Kreider is one of the best players in the NHL when he is at his best!?… What!?!?… Kreider is BY FAR one of the weakest, softest, half-assed players in the NHL. And any real hockey player knows this!…. He constantly looks LOST on the ICE. I honestly believe that he takes sleeping pills before games. Scoring goals is only one aspect of the game. His game is TERRIBLE & WEAK if he isn't tipping pucks in front of the net. You really have to watch the games closely to notice some of the weirdest things he does… like he purposely turns away from hits… he hugs the opposing players on the boards… he freezes in time and hardly ever battles for pucks.
What coaches say during pre-season presser's means absolutely NOTHING!… Gallant said the same thing. Splitting up this kid-line is BEYOND insane.. Every-time they split the kids up, they ALL played worse. They ALL play much better together. They Are bound to stay on the 3rd line as long as all these others top 6 are on the team. They are not going to move Panarin, Zibanejad, Tarasenko, Kreider, Trocheck, or Kane to the 3r'd line. I looked at all the possibilities for the kids to get more minutes — but all these line combos are all discombobulated and weird if you try anything else. And they wont get more power-play time unless they trade away like 2 or 3 of the aformentioned players. So, it's obviously all talk — ignited by the media that knows nothing about line combo's and who fits with who?
