  2. As usual, brutal coverage of the US Open. I heard a great interview a while back with Clark, he is a beauty. But no one would know because the telecast told us nothing about the guy!!! Pathetic job by them, he was tied for the lead. Do your homework, and tell the audience more than just his mom died. And to compound things further, the on course color guy following the final group was 1 of the interviewers! LACC was a bad setup because of the Bermuda (!) they planted in CA and didn't get the heat to grow it, but even worse, it's a terrible host for the Patrons. Hard Fail by all involved.

  3. The big question is will PLD's bank have a suite in Nashville lol I have to think someone in live chat used that one…

  4. Love seeing Jeff's heat! All off us fans agree: the philosophy of how this regime is run and their values is the problem – loyalty over results doesn't work!

  5. Jeff is spot on in everything he said. Loyalty is a wonderful attribute to have but in pro sports we want results. True north rarely if ever have their ears to the ground. Constantly repeating the same mistakes and expecting it to work and asking for more season ticket renewals. Unbelievably tone deaf. Leadership is having the ability to make the tough decisions with conviction, however tough they may be. Time for 26 to move on and change over to the new guard

  6. I'm not on the same page as Jeff Hamilton at the 1:31 to 1:33. I'm okay if the Jets retain Blake Wheeler to help us get into the playoffs this coming year. I'm okay with him as essentially an 'own rental'. It's a good transition year for some new folks coming in here. I feel like paying $8M for 1 year of Blake is a lot better than paying $5M for 2 years of nothing, and gets him completely off the books for the summer of 2024 where we can go out and get a UFA for a 2 or 3 year deal. Jeff talked about emotions getting in the way but I think that's what is happening when you think about dumping Blake. In the playoffs, he really showed up well and played his heart out and we could use more of that around here! Not less! I'm very excited about Jets 3.0, but one more year with the only remaining player from the Thrashers is okay with me.

  7. You guys can keep banging the Dach-for-Dubois trade all you want, there's not ONE GM in this league who would make that trade. Not straight-up, even less so adding to it.

  8. Thanks Jeff, you said it! Many have thought it. Best analysis I have heard about the Jets. The loyalty is a problem. They are living in the original Manitoba Moose days when they were the farm team for the Canucks. Time to become an NHL professional organization. Bowness sounded the horn and you have come in to blow the horn loud. Bowness, like former Boston players that are in the Bruins organization, loves WPG and the Jets and was hired by John Ferguson., Fergie was a pro and would not have put up with the garbage we have. Bowness is the only mature NHL professional in the Jet hierarchy. Chevy and Chipman are minor leaguers. As you said, time to get a director of player operations to run this like an NHL professional team. In addition while maybe minor, time to get rid of the loyalty to Mick E Moose and get a jet fight pilot or something as the team mascot. Jeff, you hit it out of the park, thanks!!!
