First i guess
They need to get another solid D man or 2 back there for the team to even think about doing anything in the playoffs.
Whoa whoa whoa, they can't even make the Conference Final and are lucky to even make it past first round. They are missing like 4 or more players and have at least 5 mil in bad cap they can't get rid of. Basically this is a black hole team, not anywhere near a contender.
Jack Campbell's contract isn't going to get any better. They overpaid for a guy with a very small sample size, in which he was wildly inconsistent. If I were Ken Holland, I'd try to move him if at all possible, you may have to retain salary but he's earning too much to be a backup and he's just not reliable enough to hold the starting job.
Nuh uhh not listening to a FORMER Womens Olympic player tell me about NHL and how it is to play in that League….. there are enough FORMER NHL players that can intelligently and with a far better degree of knowledge to comment on this matter
Vegas showed that as long as you have a good defense (big, mobile, a few top guys), your goaltending can be average and you'll still win.
No
Its not their goalies.. mike smith was good and they still didnt make it in the past.. they need better D men
How do you talk about the Oilers tandem – and never mention Campbell and his amount and length of contract – and his worst stats in the NHL. Seems like that needed to be commented on.
They can use some more depth at all 3 positions tbh
