  1. The NHL should worry about making money in other ways than the jerseys.

  2. Lol would never buy a phlyers jersey and if someone bought me one, I would be forever grateful for the gift, but it would be buried in my closet with the close that will never fit again and never see the light of day and would be no where NEAR my Rangers jerseys, might not even be in the same room. Put it in the spider closet, with plastic to protect it cuse it was a gift, but somewhere I don't visit because, like I said, spider closet.

  3. fyi to the military personal buying houses, to my knowledge of friends in the Canadian military, they get housing stipends, so its almost always in your favour to buy houses because the government essentially builds your equity for free with there housing payments they give you. Also cover most moving costs etc. Not 100% sure but thats what i have been told by a few military acquaintances

  4. Does this mean arizona wont have any retention spots if they are buying out two more players? One is used up already with OEL buyout.

  5. I'm pretty sure if Zetterberg gets in it's not until next year so he can go in at the same time as Datsyuk. Likewise I don't think Marleau gets in next year but the following year he goes in with Thornton (Chara probably goes in that year too but no connection).

  6. Strange to see the Yotes do buyouts. Why would they do that?

Monahan could be a guy that gets flipped with half cap held at the deadline.

And fuck yeah, go for double Henriks in the HoF! Could even triple but the Sedin brothers should go in together, so, nah. Pass.

  7. love the redesign of the jerseys, obviously except for the ad patch, I'll never support ads on jerseys except for when I buy them anyway because I'm too lazy to care enough

  8. The talk about Sebastian Cossa getting the Red Wings backup job puzzles me. He spent all but 3 games in the ECHL last season. With Brattstrom and Nedeljkovic gone, I would think he would have a great opportunity to play big minutes for Grand Rapids as their starter rather than playing maybe 30 games behind Ville Husso in Detroit.

But I'm just a guy in the comment section. What do I know?

  9. Kassian should sign with Edmonton. He was great with them.

  10. As good as King Henrik was, hes not even the best goalie waiting to get in. See Barrasso or Vernon. Mogilny should have been in on first ballot. HHOF has been a bit of a joke for years. Stuff like these nominations and exclusions solidify the point.

  11. I could totally see Yzerman trading with St. Louis. I could see Yzerman trading 9th & 17th overall for St. Louis 10th, 25th and 29th overall. Yzerman could draft Axel Sandin Pellikka at 10, Otto Stenberg at 25 and David Edstrom at 29. 3 Swedes.

  12. This is only a joke, I don't expect to ever happen. 😅 I could see Yzerman trading Dylan Larkin and Antti Tuomisto to the Columbus Blue Jackets for their 2023 3rd overall draft pick (Leo Carlsson) and Adam Boqvist. I know Dylan Larkin has a no trade move clause in his contract for the first 5 years. However, that contract extension doesn't technically begin until July 1st. This would give Dylan Larkin an opportunity to play with his best friend Zach Werenski. Columbus is in a win now mode and are more aggressive. For Detroit, this gives them Leo Carlsson and Marco Kasper as their top 2 centers. I don't expect Yzerman to ever trade Dylan Larkin, however they could retain his contract by 1.7 million since his contract begins next season.

  13. Lol, talking about Chilliwack and Borden. Now we know that THG has experienced the canadian military at some point in his life. No one knows those places exist otherwise

  14. If the Flyers really want to make a splash… they should go back to the Cooperalls. Embrace the chaos!

  15. Kekalainen did a radio interview where he said he would only consider moving the 3OA if offered a young franchise center, top 10 in the league, with lots of term left. So essentially Thompson? Maybe Pettersson with an extension? Would Barkov or MacKinnon be too old?

Honestly no one should get their hopes up of a top 3 pick moving in the cap era. The potential of a franchise player with almost a decade of control isn't something teams give up. It's on the same level as the hypothetical "trade for McDavid" talk.

  16. I don’t get it. That’s not a “new look”. That is a Flyers a jersey same as before.
