I celebrated harder when the Habs took him than I did when they beat the Leafs in game 7 lmfao
I was so pumped when they drafted him. We have the benefit of hindsight now to know it worked out, but I just had a feeling that he was going to be a star no matter what.
For what it’s worth the only other time recently I’ve cheered like that was when the Habs picked Lane Hutson. I could not believe he fell that far.
I was there in person. Lost my voice I was cheering so loud. Caufield was my favourite prospect in the class and I figured he’d go top 10 if not top 5. Was also fun to boo Bettman and the Bruins
