Don't look too much into the "not moving the 1st rounders"…….at this stage of the build, the last couple years, yzerman has shaken it up at every turn. He won't go on camera and say #9 & #17 are on the table, I really wanna trade those asap! Unfortunately for us superfans, we will find out when we find out……

In order to win a cup; the Red Wings need a generational talent. I remember the night the Red Wings got Brendan Shanahan. People thought the Bowman lost his mind trading Paul Coffey and Keith Primeau. I remember seeing fans on opening night in 1996 against Colorado holding signs saying trade Bowman not the players. That is the kind of move Yzerman will need to make.
When Yzerman took over Red Wings the team was in a mess look at cap they got now ,just wait and see

What do you think about RFA Troy Terry from Anahiem? 25, Right wing, right hand shooter, coming off of $1.55m year, 60 goals and 68 assists in last 2 years. A 3 or 4 year contract would not break the bank for this young man.
