I’d trade pick 17, and one of our 2nds in exchange for Marner and Murray.
Toronto would be keeping their better goalie in Samsonov, Murray would be great cap relief for them, pick 17 isn’t nothing, and the 2nd is a sweetener.
They would be going from zero breathing room to being able to get help for Rielly on D and get a cheaper backup.
The Red Wings in return get Marner who is a proven top line winger which lets Raymond slot down to the 2nd line to develop better, Marner can finally give Larkin that other true star he’s been missing.

Friedman just linked us HARD to Konecny. He fits Yzerman’s mold more than DeBrincat does. I don’t say that as an indictment to Cat, just as a complement to Konecny. Dude is a point per game PKing right winger.

Knowing Yzerman, I wouldn’t be surprised if he lands both Konecky and Debricate. Flyers are looking for picks and Ottawas looking for Defense. We have a plethora of LD and with the signing of Matta, Walman and the Chiarot contract all being locked up for 3 years, my guess is someone at LDs getting moved and it might very well be Edvidson if we’re looking to keep our forward group.

They should trade and sign Debrincat and sign Bertuzzi . Build around those two Larks and Raymond for your offense. That’s the thing. If we signs 30 goal scored that’s essentially just taking place of Bertuzzi on the offensive front. That keeps us just where we were before the trade deadline. We really need to sign two offensive studs

The Fourth Period is an absolute joke. I followed it for a couple of years and it is mostly shit passed off as hockey journalism. This was a few years ago but I found little credence with their writing.
