    I honestly don't see how the Sharks make the cup. Even if Jones plays as well as Niemi played, they'll still be digging deep just to keep ahead of the Oilers.

    I think all these predictions are pretty stupid, i mean not many people predicted Lightning to be in the SC finals before 2014-15 season. There are always teams that surprise everyone..

    I think the sharks will make the wildcard spot. They should be mad about last season.. But then again so was vancouver when they lost in the final and went from elite to meh.

    They also have some very stiff competition: calgary had a good bite last year and should be in. Dallas has a stacked team and if they can get together it in should be a shoo-in. Anaheim is the canucks of 2009-11 (president canadates). Edmonton is on the horizon and the King's want redemption… Love the Pacific right get now.. All we need is phoenix to unscramble and should be awesome year.

    Jones and Stalock r the game goalies. If I were the Sharks GM, I'd be looking for some goalies

    How do you not mention they lose John Scott, when he was easily the best player on the team last season.

    With the Pacific Division, you really can't predict which way the division is going to go. Everyone said the Flames couldn't make the postseason, they made it. I think San Jose can't really have the same streak of bad games like they did in February. I still see it being tough, but the Sharks are really in a test because right now, here's my division and wild card predictions

    Pacific Division
    1. Anaheim
    2. Los Angeles
    3. Vancouver
    4. Calgary
    5. San Jose
    6. Edmonton
    7. Arizona

    Central: 1. STL 2. CHI 3. NSH  4. DAL 5. WPG 6. MIN 7. COL

    Wild Card: Calgary, Dallas

    You also have to keep in mind, that month of February last season.

    >SJS: 3–7–2 (Home: 0–5–2 ; Road: 3–2–0) in February

    That February really did kill their playoff hopes. January 31st, 2015: SJS was second in Pacific Division(1. ANA 70 pts, 2. SJS 58 Pts, 3. VAN 57 pts) Feburary 28th, 2015: SJS was fifth in Pacific Division(1. ANA 85 Pts, 2. VAN 73 Pts, 3. LAK 70 pts, 4. CGY 70 pts, 5. SJS 68 pts)

    The sharks are gonna go back to usual ways and be in playoffs and lose either first or second round. Ward and Martin are gonna be great cus Hannan was trash and we needed another winger cus Chris tierney isn't fully ready and Nieto and hertl were slacking last year. Plus marleau had an off season. I'm 95% positive they will make it this year.

    We all know what's going to happen, they are going to either miss the playoffs or make it, but choke a 4-0 series lead lol

    With DeBoer as head coach they'll definitely miss the playoffs. Plus he'll divide the locker room by pitting the young players vs the old players, and greatly hurt the young players development.

    Me personally, I am looking at Jones playing 60 games and Stalock the last 20, if Jones has some great games, he'll be #1 for sure.

    As a Sharks fan I believe we can make the playoffs this year with this roster I see, but I'm not exactly sure how the coaching and goaltending will turn out.

    Let's Go SHARKS!!! I hope my Sharks can prove these guys wrong. I can't wait for hockey to start up again.

    Dan Rosen says they won't make the playoffs and they end up making it to the Stanley Cup Final
