Im not a Bruins fan at all but I feel Bergeron will be back nxt season

Marner did lead the league in take aways which is promising, but that doesn’t negate the fact he also led all forwards in the league in unforced defensive zone give aways. He wasn’t marginally good let alone great in his own zone. At one point Matthews was third worst in that stat as well but he improved to tied for seventh worst by the end of the season.
Defensive zone turnovers are the single most critical statistic for determining overall defensive performance.
Bergie should have that trophy renamed after him at this point, coming from NJD fan.

I really think Bergeron will win it, but after watching Hischier all year, he was a fantastic defensive forward. I think he should win it but I know it will go to Bergeron.

Its bergeron. The ice literally tilts in bostons favor every time hes on it. Its insane. Every time hes on the ice you just know the other team isnt getting a lot of great looks, yet alone goals.
