You could see it in the players last year, they did not want to be there (Thanks Sutter) and it's really hard to change that culture overnight – Conroy has the toughest GM job this year. The plus is, we can get some nice assets/picks for these players. There are a lot of teams in on Hanny already (He'd be perfect on the Wings just sayin), I think the Avs would bite on Backs for that Center depth they were lacking last year, and every single team in the league would be in on Lindholm. If they are going, then I expect Toff would be another name out there, we need to reset. On a side note – we getting a mock draft?

Homestly, I was tired of the make it one year, miss it one year pattern when it came to playoffs with this core. I've been a life long Flames fan, and I tuned out most of last season because it felt like none of the players wanted to be there. So I am hopeful that Conroy can get some decent returns for the 1 year contracts and we can truly start fresh from the 2015-2023 era.
