They need to face reality, and start the rebuild now.
Canadian teams need to stop drafting American players, this story of exclusively American born players requesting trades out of Canada has become way too common.
Tsn has gone right into the dumper
Nobody wants to play in Canada. Between the Jets and Flames. Edmonton is likely going to be next
Everyplayer wants to be apart of a contending team for the cup the thing is you as a player have to play like youra team worth contending for the cup and believe in your system and do your job on the ice no matter what team your on
The maple laughs have to try to fleece Calgary now.
Nylander to Calgary for Hanifin and Lindholm.
Calgary is done.
as a flames fan, I say trade them and get as much assets as possible. We don't want to keep overpaying players going into their 30s just to get them to stay. There's a ton of young prospects out there willing to play in Canadian teams just to get their NHL career started, let's give those players a chance.
This is what happens when you treat your players like crap.
Rebuild!!!
