I think what everyone forgets about Lafreniere is that hes a left winger behind a recent Hart candidate in Panarin and a recent 50 goal scorer in Kreider. Gallant was committed to a first )and usually second) power play that didnt include Lafreniere whereas Stutzle is getting 4 minutes of power play a night.
I think once Lafreniere actually gets the keys to the Rangers offense, along with Chytil and Kakko, theyre going to be one of the most dangerous cores in the nhl. Its just unusual how deep the Rangers are for a team that drafted so high.

There have been rumours that Lafreniere is on the block, Vancouver is one of the interrested teams. I dont know if the Rangers can wait for Lafreniere to become an impact player when je could acquire one as a trade piece.
