Yes, but my personal projection for Bedard’s rookie points total just took a 10 point hit if he’s carrying this bag of sand for 20 minutes a night

  2. ThatHouseCDN780

He already played with McDavid to above average abilities. I sense the same with Bedard.

  3. Lordcraft2000

Wait, since Chicago is still reconstructing, what possible gain they would have to get Hall? 🤔

  4. CryptographerTop6473

He already played with an all time winning team in the regular season.. and it’s going to take 3yrs for a rookie to hit his peak. This is a real baffling move. Must suck for Hall to start his career with a bottom feeder, make it to the best team just be back on a rebuilding team.

No, hall is a selfish player. He has shown that time and again. If anything, it may hurt bedards’ progress a little
But I bet bedard can rise above it as long as he gets a different linemate.

I like Foligno coming in to the stabling a positive and productive culture. Hall has only known losing and, from my perspective, is a selfish player. I’m confused why he is coming.

better question… is the reverse true?

hall has been on so many teams now I feel like I can’t even remember who drafted him (just kidding, it’s edmonton).

there HAS to be some reasons this guy hasn’t been able to stick with a club for any duration of time

  8. chachee

Headline should be about Foligno and how many guys he’s going to hit for being too aggressive with Bedard

  9. Turbulent_Cheetah

Taylor Hall gets to play with yet another 1st overall pick in their rookie season. That will be, what, 6?

  10. No-Satisfaction3663

Short answer: yes. Do I like him any better for it? No.

  11. BillMcCrearysStache

I see Bedard getting 50-65 points, with or without Hall

  12. Roddy_Piper2000

Glad to see the Bruins focus on D

  13. Flex1855

There’s really almost zero benefit for hall to go to Chicago unless he really wants to play 20+ mins a night and hope to earn a better $ value next contract

  14. ExplanationNormal364

Took the Bruins longer that I thought to figure out what Hall is about.
    Selfish little baby…

it’ll be cool to see if Hall will low key be a mentor ( both being #1 overall in cities that are passionate about hockey). i will miss him playing for the B’s , but i’ll definitely be cheering for him in Chicago

  16. Spirited-Jicama8323

    Chicago won this trade

  17. MostLikelyDenim

He’ll teach him a thing or two about doing lines at the bar after yet another 3-1 loss.

  18. mrg3392

Hall Bedard Athanasiou will be a speedy line

  19. ShankillButcher77

Hall is garbage. He is 2-3 line at best. Not impressed at all.

  20. Adept-Offer-2315

That’s one way to protect your linemate! Foligno is the ultimate bodyguard.

  21. noocaryror

How’s this about Hall beyond somehow being a help to Bedard.

  22. scandrews187

Will a bear shit in the woods?

  23. Timely_Ad7628

That’s one way to protect your star rookie!

  24. Danroy12345

Taylor halls probably happy with this trade. Gets to play with the next big star.

  25. Cherch

    Didn’t benefit playing with Mcdavid…
