Two big holes and both need stay at home solid defensive defenders to allow hughes n hronek to do there things… pesce or Tanev would be nice through the trade for the right side… maybe dumba if cheap enough through free agents… for the left side maybe like a graves or ghost in free agency if price is right think gardener is also a f.a…. So ya both are huge holes imo….

I’m tired of hearing how a guy that has won the Stanley Cup suddenly makes them a good choice. They are too old. We need new young blood and someone to develop them on the go. We need better secondary coaches that work with young guys that really want to learn and are able to change their mindset. Not just go through the motions now that they have their money. I remember an interview with Brendan Morrison before he got traded to the canucks. I believe his dad helped set his mind straight and the rest is history. I chose him in my hockey pool way back then solely based on what he said in that interview.

As I mentioned last night on the Live stream I think they should take the chance on UFA Florida Panthers prospect Lucas Carlsson whose a LSD coming off a career high year in the AHL getting 20 goals, 34 assists for 54 pts in 61 games. He's only 25 years old and made the League minimum so can't see him signing in FA contract for anything above a million (cap friendly deal). These are the kind of moves I'd like to see the Canucks explore
