RD…..a d, that can be a good bet as top 4. Like #1 centre, you pay enormous on ufa, or trade for top 4 RD. Reinbacker, Willander, ASP in that order. Perhaps Semishev although a LD.
In this years draft position needed up into maybe 15 pick then the best player available after that.

To Blake, slightly irrelevant but the time is always now 😉. To Matt, I've got reasonable doubt that at eleven there will not be more than one option for best (subjective) draft pick that can/will compliment our current deficiencies. Without any overtime we have a tie imho.

Best player available. Quit trading away draft capital. Use what you have. The pain will only last so long. Lol. The next 3 years will be hard. Hoping a player will stand out being a late pick or free agent. But this wait time is necessary. So fans quit tripping. And be hopefull.
