Don’t rush into a bad one. The guys we are looking to trade (outside maybe Lindholm) are much closer to Haynes than they are to Newhook.

I like how Flames Twitter is already turning on Conny because he hasn’t made any trades yet. Like hes been GM for a month and people are already hating on him. Would I like to see more action? Absolutely! But I’m not turning on anyone yet.

Draft day is where the real pressure comes into play. Maybe see Conroy deal something there. But I wouldn’t rush at any at all. Just hope Conroy finds the deals that at least the fans also feel that the appropriate returns are decent. It’s more external pressures than internal i feel

I want the trades done so we can move on but I don’t want them rushed. Even the draft is an artificial deadline because if the Flames like who was drafted they can always trade for the prospect instead of the pick.
