I saw a few posts that suggested a 2nd round pick may be coming back too

Apparently Kupari was really putting it together at the end of the season last year. Could be a fun player with the change of scenery.

Kings reddit probably in full meltdown mode soon

Atta Boy Chevy.
Nice haul.
Iafallo is a gamer.
Gotta watch some highlights for Villardi
Then on to Bucky Watch.

This is fantastic for us. Are we taking a chance with Vilardi… Yes. But Iafallo is locked up for the next 2 years. The swiss army knife that can contribute to any line he is placed on.

Anyone think Murat could be secretly employed by Chevy in order to help drive up interest and offers between MTL and LA?

So we get a 2c (Rfa, no contract), 4c (rfa, no contract) and 3L (2 years left).
If Vilardi doesn’t come with an extension this sucks balls

Amazing! Maybe I’m forgetting something but will this be Chevy’s best trade when it’s completed?

Is this the return I want? No.
Is this a great return given the circumstances? Absolutely.
Chris Johnston just tweeted it’s going to be a max term, 8 year contract for Dubois
LaytonsCat
Love it. Bigger return than I was expecting, 2 solid NHL players
Proof_Objective_5704
I would be surprised if they actually get this.

Honestly PROPS to Chevy for doing the impossible. We thought Dubois was a goner for essentially free, which would have rendered the Laine trade almost pointless… this trade is fantastic
GZeus24
Well this looks better than I thought. The infusion of much needed depth into this team will be very welcome. Impressive if true and more to come.

Just how badly does Marc Bergevin want to screw his former team, the Canadiens
