Great move, yes. Best possible, no. We have the cap space to pursue EK65 and wouldn't pick up the entire tab. SJ does want to get out of the contract, so there exists a possibility, albeit remote, that a deal including pick 4 could be arranged. Imagine Edvinsson shadowing EK65!? If that happened in addition to DeBrincat, we'd be looking at a playoff team, then there's the draft picks, Doucet, Kasper and it's looking significantly improved.
