Talks have cooled off between PHI & WPG in regards to Travis Sanheim. As @AntSanPhilly mentioned, Flyers are looking for a 1st RD pick and it doesn't sound like the Jets were willing to part with #18.
Told PHI has nothing going on w/ Sanheim atm, but things can change quickly.

Danny’s gotta figure something out stat the damage isn’t going to be fixed overnight we need to overload these contract fucking stat. Getting rid of Deangelo, Provorov, and Hayes is a start but we need to do a lot more and I think we can all agree an extra 1st in the stacked 2023 draft including the 2 we already have would go a long way.
Sanheim without the 8 year deal isn’t worth the 18th pick. With that deal he’s worth even less.
It’s like Chuck Fletcher was made in a lab to be as efficient at making Danny Briere’s job impossible as he could
I’ve gotta think that the failure of Hayes and Sanheim deal to the Blues is making it much more likely that Briere trades one of Laughton or Konecny. It seems like Danny desperately wants at least one more pick in the first round of this draft, and he’s not going to get that by moving Sanheim.
I would imagine Laughton to a team like Toronto, Carolina, or even Minnesota is a realistic possibility.
FLA needs to buff their defensive depth bad. Fuck it ask em if they want him for a 2nd and a prospect lol. I want another first but the NTC on that contract is scary. Travis could be totally fine invoking it whenever if he’s not going to a contender.
Something tells me he’s gonna have a hard time getting someone to give him a first for TS within the next 4 days.

Danny need to work a trade out. Hopefully he will be able to pull something off. Sanheim has value and is sort of a reclamation project despite having proved previously that he can be a solid top 4 D. If you can take a bad multi-year contract in return a first should be possible, but the draft is tomorrow so the clock is ticking.
Just be patient. There is a lot of time to work deal between now, the draft, free agency, and trading season afterward.
