This conversation within the Vancouver media is super dumb . Lets think about this a bit . The Canucks traded Horvat for the Islanders pick (17?) . If at that point when the trade was made they thought they could get a great player why would they trade that pick . The Canucks looked at it and said to themselves no impact player at 17 and traded that pick. Why on Gods green earth would you trade down to get a non impact player . The Canucks will pick at 11 in the draft Wednesday. This is kind of crazy talk
Canucks have 12 million in cap, there is zero incentive to dump cap. 12 million gets you Orlov and Barbashev if there's mutual interest.

Thats a tertible idea. Brock is due for a comeback season. The Pandemic, death of his father and mess around the team really messed with his development but hes still young and we all know he has the talent.
Beside Bedard he would light it up and be a value contract. Hed also likely be on PP1 there. If we pay a team to take him and he immediately ressucitates his contracts valie i will be very, very angry.
