Devils add Toffoli … Their top 6 is light years ahead of ours. If they are able to acquire either Saros or Helleybuck … the Islanders should just sell, bc we will not be in the same ballpark as them. Lou has set this franchise back years

Lou is like an old cowboy riding the same old horse to death. Just face it lou will ride his gang forever or until his bad deals run out. All isle fans can hope for is a mercy killing. For things to get so bad and isles to bottom out and for ownership to pull the plug on lou. Only thing for lou to do outside of throwing a few darts at the draft board thurs. and hoping for a 'late steal' is to go back to sleep and wake up on 2nd or 3rd and sign a few cheap old ufa vets. Nice to see all my fellow NY Isles fans in such a good mood this very fine early Wednesday morning. Connor Hellebuyck couldn’t hold Ilya Sorokin’s jockstrap. I could care less if he goes to NJ. The reason the Rags lost to the NJ Devils in the playoffs because the Rags tried playing the speed game against one of the fastest teams in the entire NHL. (Rags are fast but not that fast & the “bread man” is always a no-show in the playoffs) As soon as NJ played a team that is semi-fast but extremely physical, they lost. I was listening to The Hockey Guy who I do agree with most of the time. Talking Torey Krug up, The Hockey Guy is the champion of all small NHL players. (I find that interesting… 🤨 Why he likes the smaller players? I’m only 6’ 1” & anyone who’s played on any level of NCAA ice hockey knows 6’ 1” 169- 172 lbs soaking wet like me! Sometimes those hip-checks from 6’ 2” and 200+ lbs guy coming out of your own zone can knock the wind right out of ya! Especially when you can’t retain any weight like me. (I didn’t hit 200 lbs until I turned 50. (The heaviest I ever weighed at my physical peak was 198 lbs) After losing so much weight during my divorce diet. (I was down to 161) I met this hot chic in my divorce group. I really liked her, so I eat 3 meals a day & drank 2 vanilla Ensure’s after every meal. I did get up to 198 lbs and let’s just say that me & that hot Jewish girl had a lot of fun together for 5 years. I’m like you Gil; I can’t wait for hockey to start! I don’t care about what other teams do. What bothers me is how the NHL keeps self-sabotaging themselves? Three games against the Rags? What a complete joke, utterly ridiculous marketing! Do we play any of our division rivals 4 times? What a pathetic PR staff!
