@Flames de Calgary

    I’m sure this will go over well

    Maybe Huska wanted a different group of coaches. Maybe Love was viewed as needing to gain experience in a different organization. Don’t agree with that but we will never know

    Have no issue with the assistants we got. And if he wasn’t happy about not getting the HC job, it’s likely better to let him be an assistant elsewhere.

    I’m quite happy with how our staff turned out.

    That’s a bummer.

    I honestly don’t know if CC is doing Galaxy brain shit or if he has like rookie gm jitters. Time will tell

    Can’t have too many good coaches if you wanna tank… that’s gotta be the train of thought here. Unless management knows something we don’t.

    Just a thought, but maybe Love isn’t as qualified as we think he is. If the Flames thought he was ready, he’d have been given an offer. I trust Conroy and he’d have a better read that we would.

    Lambert has coached with huska before and I’m sure they were prioritizing a staff that would help with huska as top man

  10. Never good news with this team ffs

    Dudes been a head coach of an AHL team for 2 years. Maybe they want him down there some more until a lot of those prospects mature into NHL talent or move on elsewhere. Huska had 4 years as the AHL coach before being promoted to an assistant position in Calgary. Love’s time will come.

    Would just like to highlight the other thread where I said we fucked up and a few people were saying how « we did everything, he just wanted more money ». He could not translate his skills to the NHL level, but not even taking the chance could really backfire especially since this team isn’t winning anything anytime soon.
