Dubois has quit on every single team he’s been on including the junior level. Jets won this trade, Dubois is not worth 3 players and a draft pick. How long until he wants out of L.A 😂

good move on Winnipeg's part to get those players for a crybaby that dosent want to be there, now they need to rid themselves of the other high priced buy out candidate , blake wheeler., chevy finally made a good trade for once, i always questioned HIS GM DUTIES.
Now only Sceifly to trade and get a good return, their goalie projected good return and buy out the older guy.

Great trade for Kings. Good trade for Winnipeg all things considered. The Kings aren't done. Who says PLD doesn't go to left wing on the top line with Kopitar and Kempe? The Kings were willing to move Villardi for a reason– he has a serious back issue. He missed 20 games this past season with it flaring up and he missed more than two seasons prior with the issue– he's a gamble. Kupari will be better with more minutes and can really turn on the jets. He might wind up being the great prize for the Jets two years down the road. But make no mistake– the Kings are better today and now with a long term deal and playing on a good team with great leadership I believe you will see PLD go to another level– very similar to Kempe. PLD can be a 40 goal scorer and that does not grow on trees.

The Los Angeles Kings’ “prospects”, have not blossomed like expected. I lot of hype, not a lot of production. Reminds me of when teams like the Yankees and Dodgers “talk up” their prospects, who rarely deliver. Saying that the Jets traded a player who didn’t want to be there, for assets that may help in time. And they don’t have to pay him.
Dubois is a quitter. I hope LA knows this.
Awful deal, PLD has no work ethic and will demand a trade in April, leaving the Kings with 7 seasons of hot, expensive garbage on the roster

Lost count of how many times I'v seen "Dubois Wants Out" headlines over the years. Regardless of potential talent I don't like lazy malcontents as a rule. And $8.5 is too much. Habs dodged a bullet, assuming they were ever really interested.

I have watched Gabe play for the last 5 or 6 years and he is special. He'll be better than Dubois in 2 years.

With the exception of Iafallo, Kings got rid of medical concerns in Vilardi and Kupari can't put it together after almost 5 years. The Kings got rid of some waste (not Iafallo) and a pick for Dubois. Don't feel bad Winnepeg because lots of American and Canadian players don't want to play in Canada.
Me personally, he’s quit on 2 teams already. He’s a good center, but not worth the call his own shot he’s getting. Huge over pay.
Kings fan mixed feelings but on paper 1 2 3 C in LA is sick now. PLD's agent is super close to Rob And Luc so hopefully that is a good thing here. Hate seeing Gabe go, Vilardi's hands will be missed he's got Elite Elite mitts. Heard a rumor he didn't want to re sign. ( Rumor only) which would make sense then. . Iafallo is a known product solid middle six can play up n down your lineup. Kupari has had several shots at the big club never really broke out but he's big and fast and plays with an edge. Be interesting looking back on this one in a year…..

It's nice to know that $68 million can cure homesickness. At least in had better in PLD's case. Having attended college in LA and as a SoCal resident, Los Angeles is another world when compared to Montreal. It'll be interesting to see how well he adapts…or how soon he starts whining again.
