I'm so so so happy Easton Cowan was picked by Toronto, I love his play and I live in the town he's from, so I've encountered his family at my workplace, very very nice people! Cowan is the player who I've seen always getting the first goal, he's strong and accurate, as well as just a great sport~

Favourite player and is from my hometown! Was awesome when I met him at my own hockey game and soooo happy for him! Also crazy how he is going to my favourite team and our hometown team! So proud of him and exited to see him develop! He got better as the year went on because I went to a lot of London knights games and he did great at the draft combine! So happy for him and congratulations to Easton “cowboy” Cowan!

Cowan or whoever the player or how good the draftee is, it does not make a significant difference to the leafs at all, he will be only be ready in 3 or 4 years most likely, this leafs team is going to run it back next reason with the same skeleton and hopefully, breakthrough in playoff. The only value Cowan may have is to have a standout minor hockey season, and then leafs may use him as trade bait for playoff push. That's the truth.
